The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod takes no "official stance" on Halloween and its surrounding practices. That might seem a bit strange to some. But there is a nuanced approach involved that honors what the Bible has to say about Christian freedom. This is a topic that is near and dear to my heart, since I grew up really enjoying all things spooky.
